About this course

Lino Printing is an ideal process to for both beginners and experienced printmakers. It is a simple relief printing process that works through developing and using graphic contrast and mark making skills and is the perfect technique for creating hand-made, professional quality cards and gifts.

During the course you will be introduced to the basic techniques needed to make a traditional monotone, contrast print and simple ways to add colour, including collage and chine collé.

You will learn and explore the process through looking at and discussing other printmakers work and by demonstrations, personal experimentation and individual tuition on how to design, cut and print your image onto paper, cards and fabric.
