Join artists Ernesto & Cindy Hernandez for an immersive hands-on workshop blending art and tradition.
Participants will learn basic linoleum cutting and printing techniques, create personal designs inspired by Indigenous art, and explore natural dye methods using plants, minerals, and other eco-friendly materials.
Each participant will complete a unique print on naturally dyed cloth to take home and celebrates cultural memory, creativity, and community connection.
For age guidelines, this workshop is family friendly for ages 4 and up, but we do ask that anyone under 14 be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This way, parents of younger kids can participate alongside them, while older teens and adults can work more independently. Parents or guardians that are assisting their child do not need to pay unless they too will be participating and creating their own print.
