Travel the orient as you learn the ancient craft of printmaking, carve your unique pattern and create one-of-a-kind prints on cushion covers that are the perfect conversation starter :) Printmaking is an ancient technique, with roots in East Asia, discovered as a way to distribute art work amongst many people before digital revolution. A single carved surface (wood, lino, metal) can produce multiple prints and each print is considered an original "impression". Learn this technique with your mentor for this workshop, carve your pattern or scenery on a lino sheet and create custom mono-chrome prints on paper, totes or cushion covers.
