About this Event
Printmaking is a fine art process that allows the artist to produce mulitple prints of an original image. The print is created through contact with an inked block that has been worked on directly by the artist. There are four main categories of printmaking and we will be doing relief printing. You will cut/carve areas away that will not be printed. The raised portion of the surface will take the ink. You will be using the Conrad E-24 Press to pull your print images. All supplies are included which include a linoleum block, cutting tools, paper, ink and rollers.
Please bring an image you would like to carve, the simpler the better. The inks are water based but you might want to bring an apron.
