FULL-DAY LINOCUT PRINTING WORKSHOPSunday 25 January 9.45 am – 4.00 pm
£95.00 including refreshments, lunch, all materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring & certificate of completion.
This full-day group workshop with our guest artist and printmaker, Sue Welfare, is suitable for all skill levels - beginners and those who have some experience.
Create a finished linocut piece (that you can reuse at home) and a small edition of A5-sized prints to take home.
You will focus on working in a single colour (although a variety of colours will be available for you to explore). You'll experiment with light, shade, line, and texture to bring your ideas to life. You'll learn a range of mark-making techniques.
This FULL DAY LINOCUT PRINTING WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
This lino printing experience is suitable for 16+.
Wear old clothes or bring an apron to protect yourself - printing can get messy.
Feel free to bring along any inspirational images or ideas you'd like to turn into prints, but don't worry if you're stuck for ideas as Sue will have plenty of starting points ready to inspire you.
You also have the full use of the Blended Monkey gardens - so you can explore for inspiration there too!
About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and also a lovely lunch - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.
All students will be provided with a certificate of completion.

The full-day workshop includes:
