Come along and join us for an exciting Lino printing workshop where you will learn how to create an effective composition, safely use Lino cutting tools to carve out your design and create stunningly textured and unique prints which can be used as greeting cards, gift tags or be framed.You will be shown how to select and apply colored inks using a brayer and transfer these to make your prints.
This workshop is suitable for beginners.
During this session students can expect to make at least 5 A6 prints.
You will also have a finished print block which could be used multiple times at home in order to create more prints and you will be given information about what equipment and materials you might need to do more printing at home.
There are templates available to get you started but you might also wish to bring your sketch book or own photographs from which to work.
With over 25 years teaching experience you can be sure that you will be guided and inspired by Helen in order to realize your true creative potential.
