Lino Print Christmas Cards workshop with Lisa Tank

10am-4pm with 1 hour for lunch
In this workshop, we will spend time learning the basic techniques of cutting lino and making different marks. The focus is on simplicity and so we’ll just be carving one layer this time.
We’ll spend the first half of the day designing our cards, making some practise pieces and then carving the lino with final design(s) and then, after lunch, start printing.
You’ll end up with quite a production line going! Your cards can be embellished later if you choose with added colour, stick on beads and collage.
Once you have learned and practised the basic techniques of carving and printing lino, you can apply it later to all kinds of designs in the future and move on to the reduction technique where you are building multiple layers.
