About this Event
In this workshop, learn to carve a rubber block with a design, then you'll print your design on a t-shirt or other piece of clothing while understanding how fabric ink differs from paper ink. Make something you'll actually use.
**What You'll Learn**
You'll prepare fabric for printing, then apply textile ink using your carved block. We'll cover proper pressure for fabric printing. By the end, you'll understand how to translate your printmaking practice to textiles.
**What's Included**
You must bring your own piece of clothing. All other materials are provided, including rubber blocks for carving and fabric inks. Bring your own carved block or use one of ours. You'll take home your printed garment.
**Who This Is For**
This workshop is for those who want to expand beyond paper or anyone interested in DIY clothing and accessories. Basic carving experience helps but not required. Perfect if you have blocks sitting around and want new ways to use them.
