Links of Hope: Parents & Caregivers of Individuals with Disabilities

Join us on February 8 for Links of Hope, a workshop designed specifically for parents and caregivers of individuals with disabilities. This event will feature two expert guest speakers providing invaluable insights and resources:

1. Annette Cedillo, M.S/PAM – Executive Director and Co-founder of Our Paths Foundation. Annette will share guidance on becoming your child’s best advocate. From navigating referrals to mastering IEPs, this session will empower you to confidently use your voice and ensure your child’s needs are met.
2. Disability Rights California – The self-assessment/re-assessment training will help you prepare for the county IHSS worker’s initial intake assessment, the annual redetermination, and even a hearing! The training will focus on tools social workers use in determining what time to give for each service. It will also provide a sample of what a self-assessment should look like.
