This is a body-positive event hosted by MinneQ; all bodies, gender expressions, and interpretations of 'lingerie glam' are welcome. Come dressed ready to feel powerful, confident, and authentically you.

Queermunity

There is a lot of vulnerability to wearing lingerie/fetish wear to a public event, and as such, we want to make sure that everyone feels safe throughout the night. Here’s how we’ll make sure that happens:

• This is an 18+ event. Everyone must be 18 or older to attend. You MUST show your ID at the door to get in. You will not be allowed in or issued a refund if you forget it.
• Lifeguards on deck! There will be two lifeguards (identified with a hi vis sash) walking around during prom. They will monitor the space to ensure compliance with our rules. These individuals are the first people to find if you are concerned about anything or feel unsafe.
• Be respectful. Everyone is expected to be respectful to each other and Queermunity’s space. Lingerie Prom is a body-positive event; bullying and harassment will not be tolerated.
• No photography on the dance floor. There will be a designated area to take pictures, including a tripod to mount your cell phone. Please no pictures on the dance floor as you may catch someone else in your shot.
• Consent is sexy. Remember that consent is for everything, not just sex. Ask before you touch anyone or their property. Some bumping around may happen–be cognizant where your hands are as you move through the space.
• No outing. Outing can have very serious consequences to individuals in their lives. Do not share pictures of or information about an individual attending Lingerie Prom unless you have explicit consent to do so.
• This is a sober event. Please arrive sober and do not attempt to consume anything during the event. This includes alcohol and recreational drugs.

Food and beverages: Light appetizer style bites and spritzers/lemonade/tea will be provided for the duration of the event. The Queermunity café will be open to purchase specialty non-alcoholic drinks.

Prom Royalty: At 10pm, we will crown our Lingerie Prom Royalty, which includes: Prom Bard, Medusa, Mermaid, and Gremlin. To enter your name to be crowned, purchase tickets at the check in for $1/each (cash or Venmo) and enter in the appropriate bucket. All four winners will take home their crown and a one-month membership to Queermunity ($25 value).

Coat/belongings check: We will have a coat check available for the duration of the event. All attendees are welcome to use the coat check to store their bags and/or street clothes. There will be a donation bucket at the door (suggested $3-5, cash or Venmo) to help us cover our costs for the event.

Dress code: This event is all inclusive of lingerie and fetish wear. Please note that bottoms/genitals must be covered at all times.

Photo Booth: This event will feature a designated photo area.

Refunds: There will be no refunds available unless the hosts cancel the event.
