Electric Beets is thrilled to host a meet & greet and book signing with bestselling cookbook author Hetty Lui McKinnon—a celebration of vegetables, creativity, and community.
Hetty Lui McKinnon is an internationally acclaimed food writer known for her bold, comforting, and deeply flavorful vegetable-forward cooking. Her work celebrates vegetables as the main event, drawing inspiration from her Chinese heritage, global travels, and a love of unfussy, nourishing food. She is the author of several beloved cookbooks, and her newest release, Linger, explores recipes that invite you to slow down, savor, and cook with intention.
To mark the occasion, the Electric Beets kitchen will be preparing a special dish inspired by a recipe from Linger, with complimentary tastes available during the event. Community Bookstore will be on site selling copies of Linger, which Hetty will be signing throughout the event.
