You have seen them...you love them...learn how to make them!In this, 'oh that's how they do it' workshop taught by Nancy DeWolff (my mom), you will learn how to make those warm and cozy mittens you love, out of sweaters you don't use anymore.
You will be shown step-by-step how and where to place the pattern, how to cut your sweater, the process of sewing everything together, and the finishing touches to make your mittens!
You will take home a durable pattern and instructions so that you can make as many as you'd like for yourself, friends, and family.
Basic sewing knowledge is helpful for this class, however, help is available for those who would like assistance.
A variety of sweaters and lining will be provided for the class however, if you would like to bring your own sweater please be sure that it is tight-knit (loose knits won't work well). This is a perfect opportunity to check out those thrift shops:)
