Lindy Hop Intermediate1B (Vocabulary & Technique)

Prerequisite: At a bare minimum you have taken both our six count and 8 count Lindy Hop beginner courses at least once each.
Swing Toronto offers three Lindy Hop Intermediate 1 courses, which you can take in any order you like:
– 1A, Musicality & Improvisation
– 1B, Vocabulary & Technique
– 1C, Fast & Slow (“Lindy Hop For Any Occasion”)
These three courses are designed to help you refine your technique, expand your vocabulary of shapes, and introduce elements of musicality and solo movement. Taking the same course more than once, perhaps with different teachers, can be helpful and fun.
After you have completed all three intermediate 1 courses, you can take our Intermediate 2 courses, which are in selected topics.
We encourage you to take each of our beginner and intermediate courses more than once, to learn more thoroughly and broadly, and for fun. Different teachers teach each course differently, and even the same teachers do not teach a course exactly the same each time.
