This class is for someone who:1) is wanting to improve their Lindy Hop,
2) is wanting to work on their technique,
3) is looking for a challenge/to be pushed,
4) is looking for personal feedback
5) is wanting to do ALL the classes (there will now be 4 nights of
Lindy classes in a row woohoo!)
To join this class you must:
1) have an understanding of 6 and 8 count moves/rhythms,
2) be able to swing out for 2 phrases comfortably,
3) be able to dance charleston for a minimum of 2 phrases,
4) have attended social dancing events,
5) have a basic understanding of phrasing.
6) be able to dance comfortably at 150bpm.
We will focus on things like:
1) styling,
2) footwork variations,
3) listening to your partner,
4) musicality (and what to do in drum solos),
5) dancing to mid to higher tempos (without doing Balboa).
6) how to be able to dance with everyone,
7) nerding out with videos and history!
Limited to 16 couples maximum (8x follows spots + 8x leads spots) $20 per person.
