Come and level up your dancing! We'll be going into some fundamentals of Lindy Hop, with the aim of turning beginner dancers into improvers, improvers into intermediates, and... Well, you get the idea.Well focus on the basics of connection, pulse and musicality rather than flashy moves, so there will be lots to gain for all levels of dancer, from brand new beginners to the more experienced - as long as you've been to a couple of beginner classes, you'll be able to access this!
Afterwards we'll head to Woodlane Social Club for a Saturday night social!
TIMING
The afternoon will be in 3 1-hour sessions, each exploring different basic aspects of the dance. Rough timings as follows:
1.40 Session 1
2.00 Session 2
4.15 Session 3
Come to the whole thing or just individual sessions as you like.
PRICING - same as a Wednesday night!
£8 For the whole thing (including the social), or 1 stamp on a class pass.
ANYTHIG ELSE
No need to book or to bring a partner, but if you are planning on coming it's useful if you let us know, so we have an idea of numbers.
Water and tea/coffee will be provided, please bring along any other soft drinks /snacks your heart desires.
Wear comfy clothes, you're going to be exercising!
