Inspired by Aaron Christopher Rees’ exhibition Mirage, this hands-on workshop brings the magic of building and light play together. Using colourful cellophane and eco-friendly cardboard boxes, participants will create their very own imaginative home with glowing windows that generate a mesmerising kaleidoscopic effect.

About our facilitator ANNA ZOBEL
Anna Zobel is an author, illustrator and teacher from Melbourne. Her middle-grade series Little Gem was a CBCA Notable in 2022, and was also shortlisted for the Readings Prize. She is the illustrator of several books including Who’s Your Real Mum?, which made the CBCA Shortlist and was selected for the White Raven Award in Europe. Anna has taught art programs and workshops at venues across Australia.
