Welcome to the (lincs Professionals) Drug & Alcohol Awareness session!
This has been specially created for people who work in the housing field or support those who are homeless or living on the streets.
Join us at Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership-Gainsborough Hub on 9th February 2026, at 10 a.m.
We'll offer helpful information, resources, and assistance to increase knowledge to:
- Clearly recognise various types of drugs, their categories, and their legal status.
- Recognise how various drugs affect both physical and mental health.
- Identify the signs and symptoms of drug use, build confidence to evaluate potential risks and understand the types of support that are available.
- Acquire an understanding of today's drug markets and the latest drug trends in Lincolnshire.
- Learn about different types of alcohol consumption and how they affect both physical and mental health
- Recognise the effects of alcohol consumption and find ways to help someone.
- Discover how to offer support that focuses on reducing harm and find out where to access helpful resources.
