About this Event
Join us for our Lincolnshire Parkinson's Information Day for anyone affected by Parkinson's in Lincolnshire which is being held on Saturday 23 November 2024, 10am-4pm, at The Petwood Hotel, Stixwould Road, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6QG.
This is a free to attend event which is being organised by Parkinson's UK in close partnership with Lincolnshire Community Health Service Parkinson's Team. It will include talks from healthcare professionals, an opportunity for discussions around key topics such as transport and local support, and physical activity taster sessions.
There will also be a marketplace of stalls from local providers available throughout the day.
Important: separate tickets need to be booked for each person attending.
Please select your preferred breakout sessions as you sign up to the event:
- Transport and rurality
- Local groups and activities, and volunteering with Parkinson's UK
- Acute support and Get It On Time (GIOT)
- Physical activity and Parkinson's taster session
When choosing your preference for breakout sessions, we strongly encourage choosing two different sessions to get the most out of the day.
This is a free event and refreshments and lunch will be provided (please provide details of any dietary requirements or allergies as you sign up for the event).

- 10.15am: Welcome and information about the event
- 10.30am: Lincolnshire Community Health Services Parkinson's Team with an introduction to Parkinson's and the nurse team, spotlight on Virtual Ward, and Q&A
- 11.15am: Refreshment break
- 11.30am: Breakout session 1 (select your preference during booking)
- 12.15am: Lunch, marketplace and networking
- 1.30pm: Lived experience: My Parkinson's Journey
- 2.15pm: Refreshment break
- 2.30pm: Breakout session 2 (select your preference during booking)
- 3.15pm: Thank you and invitation to marketplace and networking
- 3.30pm: Marketplace and networking
- 4.00pm: Event closes
Breakout sessions: When choosing your preference for breakout sessions during the booking process, we strongly encourage choosing two different sessions to get the most out of the day. Spaces are limited so please note that we cannot guarantee your selected preference.
Venue: The event is being held in The Woodland Suite at , Stixwould Road, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6QG.
Parking: There is free on site parking including Blue Badge parking (follow signs to The Woodland Suite).
