Professor Jean-Marie Guéhenno is Director of the Kent Global Leadership Program on Conflict Resolution and a Professor of Practice at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. In 2000, he was appointed by Kofi Annan as Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping and led the biggest expansion of peacekeeping in the history of the United Nations.
His lecture will explore how societal changes, globalisation, technology and power dynamics shape the landscape of conflict and peace.
