Maxfield Weakley and Bruce Matasick will lead Orange Audubon Society's Limited Edition Field Trip -- to Clearwater Lake, in the Ocala National Forest.
Join us as we hike this beautiful longleaf pine forest searching for the rare Red - Cockaded Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Red- headed Woodpecker, Summer Tanager, Brown-headed Nuthatch, Bachman’s Sparrow and other pine land specialties.
We will be granted special access to the location of the Red-Cockaded Woodpeckers for this trip.
Cost is $15 per person for Audubon members and $20 per person for non-members.
Note: there is a $10 admission charge per vehicle at Clearwater Lakes Recreation Area in addition to the Ltd. Edition Fee for members/non-members
Reservations are required as Limited Edition Field Trips are limited to 12 people.
