About this Event
Pesticide licensing in Florida can be confusing, and it may be difficult to determine which license/certification you need and how to obtain it. Read more about each certification below to see which applies to you.
The LCLM certification is for professionals who treat ornamental plants and beds around buildings.
- No turf applications allowed
- Restricted to 3-gallon pressurized and no power equipment
- No more than a 5-gallon backpack
- "Caution" labeled products only
- Proof of insurance is required upon passing the exam
The LLO certification is for applicators that work for government agencies or private companies doing work in lawns/turf and ornamentals around structures.
- Applicators with this license (LLO) are able to apply pesticides in ornamental bedding plants and Turf, in buildings landscapes owned by their employers
- Parks, cemeteries, sod farms, golf courses, and athletic fields are NOT permitted under this license
For more information on each certification, visit the website below.
