About this Event
Join Oaks and Spokes and Lime Bike for a community social to introduce Raleigh’s new dockless bikeshare pilot. Starting in August, the City of Raleigh will have 125 new electric-assist Lime bikes to make it easier for people to ride around the city. These bikes are simple to use, have electric assist to make pedaling easier, and can be parked in marked bike and scooter parking areas throughout the city.
At the social, you can:
• Try out the new electric-assist Lime bikes
• Learn more about Raleigh’s bikeshare pilot program
• Pick up free Lime giveaways while supplies last
• Meet other people who ride bikes and connect with Oaks and Spokes
Whether you ride often, occasionally, or are just curious, this is a chance to see how bikeshare works and how it can help more people get around Raleigh without needing a car.
*This page is more of an event info page with an RSVP option. Bike demos will be first come first served. Pre-registration is not required. Registering for this event via this Eventbrite page does not guarantee a bike demo, though we will have plenty of bikes available for demo.
