Se on planeetta purkautuvassa välitilassa - tilanteessa, jossa ei vielä tiedetä mitä tulee seuraavaksi. Se ei ole enää osa entistä, romahtanutta planeettaa, mutta se on liian uusi ollakseen syntynyt.
lim on poikkeuksien ja kategorioiden väleihin tippuva maailma, joka jäi ja jätettiin ulkopuolelle kun maailmat sopivat hyvästä ja pahasta, sinusta ja minusta, ihmisestä ja ei-ihmisestä, siitä mikä tunnistetaan ja tunnustetaan.
lim on peliesitys. Se yhdistää pelisuunnittelua esitystaiteeseen. Se on tällä hetkellä myös maailmanlaajuisesti yksi harvoja kokonaan fyysisessä tilassa esitettäviä immersiivisiä esityksiä.
Jokainen yleisön jäsen, esiintyjä ja teoksen henkilökunta käyttävät teoksessa erityisesti tätä esitystä varten suunniteltua kasvomaskia. Yleisön jäsen saa teoksen alussa oman käyttämättömän ja uudelleenkäytettävän kasvomaskin, joka jää yleisön jäsenelle myös esityksen jälkeen.
Teokseen otetaan vain kolme henkilöä kerrallaan.
Esityksen voi kokea sekä suomeksi että englanniksi.

Esityspaikka sijaitsee Helsingin ydinkeskustassa. Esitys tapahtuu pääasiallisesti sisätiloissa.

lim is a prologue for a new planet.
it’s a planet in a state of transition – in a state where we don’t yet know what’s about to come. lim is not part of the previous, collapsed planet, but it’s also too new to yet have been born.
lim is a world of exceptions and between categories. It’s a world of those who decided to stay - and were left - outside when worlds decided upon good and evil, you and me, human and non-human, of what gets defined and recognised.
lim is a game performance. It interbreeds game design with live art. It’s at the moment one of the few immersive performances globally that are performed wholly in a physical space.
Each member of the audience, the crew and all the performers use a face mask designed specifically for this performance. Each audience member is provided with their own unused and reusable face mask in the beginning of the performance and they may keep the mask also after the performance.
The performance plays for only three audience members at a time.
You can experience it both in Finnish and in English.

LOCATION
The performance happens in downtown Helsinki and for the most part in an inside space.
The exact location is found in the instructions that come with the ticket.
SAFETY
There will be hand sanitizer available at the entrance. You will be able to adjust your distance to other members of the audience and the performers in the performance in order to keep the safety distance if you want to.
Please don’t come to the performance if you or someone in your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or if you are in the infection chain. In that case, please inform us, and we will try to find another slot for you.

The performance follows the rules of safer spaces. We will post about these separately.
The space is unfortunately not accessible for wheelchair users. It’s a building in a temporary use with several stairs.
