Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the work week and join us for Lillördag, the delightful Nordic tradition of a midweek mini-weekend for all ages!
Bring your family and friends and enjoy a fun and relaxing evening of board games, Kubb, live music, and Nordic desserts!
Translating to "little Saturday," Lillördag (Sweden), Lille lørdag (Denmark and Norway), Pikkulauantai (Finland), is a cherished tradition across the Nordic countries, providing an opportunity to break up the workweek with a relaxing “little Saturday” on a Wednesday evening. Nordic countries are renowned for their focus on a healthy work-life balance, and Lillördag is the perfect opportunity to unwind, unplug, and recharge!
Come challenge your friends and family to classic board games and Kubb, the beloved Nordic lawn game. Try your hand at the Viking chess game Hnefatafl (“neffa-taffle”), enjoy live acoustic Nordic folk music, and sample delicious Nordic desserts.
The evening will include a no host bar of Pacific Northwest beer and wine, as well as sodas, sparkling water, and non-alcoholic spirits for purchase.
Nordic desserts and light savory snacks are included in ticket price.
Outside food is welcome. Feel free to bring dinner to eat before dessert!
This is a multi-generational activity! An adult guardian is required for children under the age of 18.
