Nashville-based singer-songwriter Lilly Hiatt creates folk-rock-country music rooted in confessional songwriting and fearless emotional honesty. While she’s the daughter of legendary songwriter John Hiatt, Lilly has long since carved out a sound and career entirely her own.Since her 2014 debut Let Down, Hiatt has steadily built momentum, breaking through with 2017’s critically acclaimed Trinity Lane — a record praised by NPR, Rolling Stone, and The Independent, and one that led to touring with artists like John Prine, Margo Price, and Drive-By Truckers. She followed with the equally well-received Walking Proof (2020) and Lately (2021), further cementing her reputation as a vital voice in modern Americana.
Her latest album, Forever, is her most intimate and expansive work yet. Written and recorded just outside Nashville and produced by her husband Coley Hinson, the album wrestles with growth, anxiety, love, and self-acceptance. Raw and guitar-driven, it balances alt-rock muscle with songwriter sensitivity, offering songs that feel deeply personal while inviting listeners to see themselves reflected in the music.
Hiatt describes Forever as “a hand to hold” — an honest, openhearted record meant to remind us that none of us are navigating this life alone.
