In December of 2024, she made her Bluebird Cafe Debut alongside Annie DiRusso. At the start of the new year, she traveled the southeast on her first tour with Josie James. In April 2025, she had her first headline show in Nashville at the Basement, celebrating the release of her new single, “Why.” In summer of 2025, she had her first show in LA at the Hotel Cafe. In October of 2025 she released her first EP while living in Nashville, called “Butterflies Start To Sting.” She plans to play the EP live for the first time this February in Atlanta, Birmingham and Nashville!

Cole Spain is an Americana-driven songwriter from Birmingham, Alabama, whose music blends folk storytelling, spiritual depth, and raw emotional honesty. Writing from a place of vulnerability rather than resolution, his songs meet listeners in the middle of their brokenness—offering understanding, presence, and quiet hope instead of easy answers.
Cole began his music career early in college at the University of Alabama, where he started shaping a sound rooted in acoustic textures and story-first songwriting. Influenced by the Southern tradition of honest, lived-in music, his work carries the weight of faith, doubt, and longing, reflecting the complexities of real life and real belief.
With lyrics that feel personal yet inviting, Cole Spain creates music for those searching for meaning, healing, and connection—songs that remind listeners they are not alone, even when the road forward feels uncertain.
