Lillo began selecting music and proposing himself as a DJ in the early '90s, quickly gaining appreciation in various clubs and one-night venues in Italy and abroad (Cellar club, Snoopy, D.N.A., Blob, The Flame, Divine Follies, Jubilee, ZenZero/Re-set, Mavù, FarFLY, WeTalk, Demode', Boscoverde, Hermitage, Obscura, Klub der Empathie, Cinematic Discotheque, etc... (Bari) Alter Ego (Verona), Prince (Riccione), Echoes (Misano Adriatico), Cassero (Bologna), Tunnel, Plastic, Rocket (Milan), TheCross (London), Mikz, Homopatik @ AboutBlank (Berlin) etc..), also making brief forays into the world of radio. He shared the console with the greatest names in the world of DJing, from the most historic to the most interesting contemporary ones. He also collaborated in the organization of music events such as concerts and DJ sets (Electrowave - Elite), reviewed music in various specialized publications, and has an Italian vinyl release for LEVEL ONE (Kali feat Massari - Arti - Re-vox records). He has been supportive of DJ-producers Distinct Memories, Arpino, and Andrea Fiorito of the audio-video collective project 4Dialogue and the ensemble U.D.O. / Unidentified DJ Orchestra with Dino Lupelli and DJ Tuppi B. Recently, he curated a playlist on Barocco (!) for the French magazine 'Les Cahiers européens de l'imaginaire'. His music collection currently amounts to around 40,000 vinyl records, allowing him to offer, depending on the needs, house, old school, deep, electronic, new wave, techno, dub, touching on sounds and influences of every genre: rock, jazz, funk, reggae, soul... always with a common denominator of research and proposal of quality music.Podcast: www.lilloupdate.com
