Lil Skies, born Kimetrius Christopher Foose on August 4, 1998, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is a dynamic American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Known for his significant contributions to the hip-hop, trap, emo rap, and pop rap genres, Lil Skies started this journey at a young age. Signing with Atlantic Records in 2017, he released hit singles like “I,” “Nowadays,” and “Red Roses,” propelling him into the spotlight. His debut mixtape, “Life of a Dark Rose,” and albums “Shelby” and “Unbothered”. In 2023 Lil Skies became an independent artist and released several singles,
“Base”, “How Things Go”,” Make A Toast’ “Thousands” and the highly anticipated ft on “This Is My Life” for the lyrical Lemonade, to name a few. Emerging from a reflective hiatus dedicated to fatherhood, Lil Skies dropped “Out Your Body,” a project echoing his evolution. With songs like “Call Me”, “Death” and others telling his journey’s introspection and raw emotion into his music, Skies crafts a narrative that’s both captivating and enigmatic. This comeback marries his signature dark, mysterious vibe with the newfound depth of his life experiences, promising listeners a voyage through the complexities of growth, change, and the undying spirit of resilience.
