About this Event
Set your little sailors on a Great Lakes adventure! Join us on Thursday, December 18th at 11:00 am for a change of the season! Explore an Icebreaker Sensory Bin, Make Snowflakes, and Enjoy a Wintertime Storytime!
Who: Children 0‑6 with a parent or caregiver (older siblings welcome)
What: Icebreaking, Snowflake Crafting, and Storytelling.
Cost: Registration is free. Museum admission still applies upon arrival. Free for NMGL members and Museums for All participants.
Capacity: 20 children. Reserve early!
- Icebreaker Sensory Bin
- Bin with ice cubes or frozen blocks
- Toy ships for "breaking the ice"
- For toddlers: Use cold blue water + sponges or scoops
- Snowflake Making
- Older kids can cut snowflakes (TBD if accessible)
- A Special Wintertime Storytime
- Book TBD
