Mia from the Texas Conservation Alliance will discuss the Lights Out! initiative, volunteer opportunities, recent updates with the Lights Out! program, and the ongoing development of the Lights Out! curriculum. Mia will provide an overview of the program's progress and how the community can get involved to protect migrating birds.Mia is the Lights Out, Fort Worth! Coordinator with the Texas Conservation Alliance. She has a background in environmental science education and has worked on various conservation projects, including bird migration studies and community engagement. Mia is passionate about conservation education and spreading the Lights Out! message to communities throughout Texas.
