The City of Kenosha Christmas tree lighting ceremony kicks off the holiday season as part of the “Lightin’ Up” celebration downtown. This FREE event takes place at a NEW location this year: Veterans Memorial Park (6th Avenue and 52nd Street). The family program is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. Enjoy live entertainment featuring Ben Mulwana and caroling leading up to the tree lighting, which will be led by Mayor David Bogdala and Santa Claus. Mrs. Claus will be present as well.

Lightin' Up Details:
Following the Tree Lighting, the Lightin' Up celebration continues with family activities, live entertainment, and special promotions at participating Downtown businesses, attractions, and outdoor spaces throughout the evening. Shops will be open extended hours with window displays for all to enjoy (be sure to vote for your favorite!).
Ride the Electric Streetcar for FREE to move about the downtown with ease! Remember, the parking ramp at 56th Street and 8th Avenue is free!
