Lighted Firetruck & First Responders Parade Proudly Sponsored by First National Bank It's a Boothbay Lights favorite! Cheer on our hometown heroes as Boothbay Lights kicks off the holiday season with the Lighted Firetruck & First Responders Parade!
SATURDAY – NOVEMBER 22, 2025
Honk your horns and cheer as fire, EMS, and law enforcement teams from across the region roll through town in dazzling, decorated vehicles. Judges will decide who takes home the Dalmatian Cup, while spectators help crown the People’s Choice Award winner with their votes.

Parade Route:
The parade begins at 4:00 PM at the Boothbay Fire Station, makes a stop at St. Andrews Village, then travels through town via Oak Street, turning left at the Library and down Townsend Avenue before ending at the Meadow Mall for the awards ceremony.

**Chili Cook-Off**
After the Lighted Firetruck & First Responders Parade, the heat turns up! Head over to Meadow Mall (Suite F) for a cozy, crowd-pleasing Chili Cook-Off that’s open to everyone!
🔥 FREE for all First Responders as our way of saying thank you.
🌟 Just $10 at the door for the public — and that includes unlimited chili tastings and your voting card!
You’ll be the judge as firefighters, police, and professional chefs go head-to-head for the coveted Golden Spoon Award. Each ticket holder gets a colored bracelet, spoon, and voting card at entry.
Sample each chili, cast your vote for your favorite, and see who takes home the win!
As soon as the votes are tallied, we’ll announce the winners and celebrate our community’s best cooks!
