Hey East Coast Hikers! 🥾💙 Let’s do a fun group meet-up for the Special Olympics Virginia 5K Run/Waddle on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk! This is an official Special Olympics Virginia event (part of Polar Plunge weekend) and supports Special Olympics Virginia. Glow/neon/light-up outfits are encouraged! ✨🐧

📍 MEET-UP DETAILS: We’re meeting Friday, February 6, 2026 at 6:30 PM outside the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront, next to the Hilton sign on Atlantic Ave (3001 Atlantic Ave). We’ll take a quick group photo, then walk over together to the start.
🏁 Race starts at 7:00 PM.
You can run ahead on your own or stay with the group the whole time — it’s totally up to you, no pressure at all. 😊
