Light-Up! Night is the official kickoff to the Nights of Lights season in St. AugustineHere's the evening's lineup:
4:00 p.m.: The festivities begin with a spirited performance by Showtime USA, a high-energy song and dance troupe performing a wide variety of holiday favorites. Catch their show in front of the Lightner Museum (St. Augustine’s City Hall, 75 King Street).
5:30 p.m.: The All Star Orchestra takes the stage at the historic Plaza de la Constitución Gazebo, delivering grand holiday-style swing and big band sounds.
6:30 p.m.: The lighting ceremony commences! The flip of a switch fills every corner of the city, instantly transforming St. Augustine with a brilliant, magical holiday sparkle. Rusty Hall, President of the Menorcan Cultural Society, and Lea Craig, one of the founders of The Minorcan Experience, will light the Plaza and the holiday tree from the gazebo.
7:30 p.m.: Entertainment continues in the Plaza. Linger downtown to begin holiday shopping, enjoy dinner with friends, or simply soak in the beauty of the city glowing with millions of white lights.
