Light Up Muckhart started in 2016, when you a few school mums had a notion to do a "Community Winter Fayre", since then it has gone from strength to strength, developed its own traditions and is a great way to kick off the Festive Season. If you are new to Muckhart come join in........
In the hall we will have a selection of produce and craft stalls, activity stations for the kids, Mulled Wine for the adults, hot chocolate, sweet bites and stovies for all.
Santa is scheduled to arrive at the hall; reindeers and weather permitting with a small gift for the little ones.
The Piano has been tuned ready for community carol singing and of course, with a lot of luck we will switch on our Christmas Lights.
All of our lovely homemade chutneys, gingerbreads, marmalade, shortbread, tablet and much more will be available to buy.
We will happily collect any food donations and deliver to The Gate in Alloa, last year we delivered 106.3kg.
The event is free to everyone, but please bring cash or card. All the fabulous goodies on sale, the mulled wine, stovies, sweet treats etc have been donated by members of our community to ensure every penny raised goes towards The Gate foodbank in Alloa.
Since 2016 Muckhart has raised £7,796 !
