The upcoming album Ghost Light: Aperitif Mort set for release on October 16, 2025, explores the story of a reunion concert unraveling under the influence of ghosts—both literal and figurative—that haunt the theater and the musicians’ pasts.
This marks the first collaborative effort under the Light Treason moniker, featuring a cast of respected Oregon-based artists including Sean McCleod (Boundless Joy), Ben Thede (Summer Eyes, Wywolf), Jarred Venti (Lords of Blackpool, JFK, Sleep Millennium… Basically everywhere), Rebecca McDade, Matt Stone and Kira Nesser.
To celebrate the album’s release, Light Treason will present a live multimedia performance at the heart of the story itself—Salem’s Historic Grand Theatre. This one-night-only event promises to be an immersive experience, blurring the lines between music, theater, and the supernatural, all set within the walls of the very venue depicted in the album’s narrative
