For one night only, come experience Midwest City's holiday lights display like no other, Walk the Lights. For just $5, come enjoy the evening with Santa and the Grinch. Be there when Mayor Dukes turns the lights on for the very first time this holiday season. Come enjoy some hot chocolate, walk through our spectacular light show and make some holiday crafts with your family and friends.
Then come back to celebrate all holiday season long at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park. The display is open each night from December 3rd to December 25th to drive through and view the sparkling lights with everyone in the family!
The mile long drive boasts over one million lights in the heart of Midwest City. Enjoy the amazing 118 foot Christmas tree illuminated with over 9,000 LED bulbs, the impressive tunnel of lights, Santa fly fishing in a 15 foot waterfall, elves baking in the candy factory and so much more! This Illumination Celebration will be delighting with dancing lights choreographed to all-time favorite classic Christmas tunes. Be sure to see the full show by pulling over and tuning into the advertised FM station.
The lights are open:
✨Sunday through Thursday 6 - 10 p.m.
✨Friday and Saturday 6 -11 p.m.
✨Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 6 -11 p.m.
OPENING NIGHT PERFORMERS:
🎤 Rose State Orchestra will be play playing Christmas songs
🎤 Barnes Elementary School Blue Jay Jazz Choir will be singing Christmas carols
☕ Hot chocolate will be served by The Underground to the first 200 attendees during opening night!
