Returning this Christmas Season the “Light the Blockhouse Hike” on Sunday, Dec. 8thJoin the Fort Abraham Lincoln team as we ring in the 2024 holiday season, flipping the switch on the decorated iconic infantry post blockhouse! The hike will start and end at the park Visitor Center. Don't miss the return of this wonderful annual tradition. Before & after the hike, stay for warm fire pits and a fantastic holiday-themed hot chocolate bar!! Hot coffee will also be served.
Hikers are to dress appropriately for the weather and to bring a flashlight for the hike. The hike is a little over a mile and moderately strenuous. The trail will NOT be stroller friendly.

Event is FREE with a ND State Parks Annual Pass, or $7 vehicle self-registration at the entrance to the park. Get your 2025 Annual Pass at the Visitor Center that evening.
