We are seeking some more people to join in on doing lightsaber dueling with us. Planning to gather one or two saturdays a month in the late evening/night at Los Colonias behind the zip line building. Theres some great open spots for dueling and pictures.
We are currently working on a streamlined combat ruleset
Link in comments to where we get our combat blades. We recommend using baselit sabers for combat, with blades thats have scew in tips rather than glued in tips. (Glue in tips have a tendency to break out and let all the cellophane in the blade come out and get ruined) Neo/Xeno pixel sabers not recommended.
You are of course welcome to use whatever type of saber you like, just understand the risk of things breaking, especially on neo/xeno pixel blades as they are expensive.
Eye, head and face protections are recommended. We dont allow head/face shots but it can happen and these sabers can hurt.
Of course no full force swings, we arent trying to injure, or break peoples things, but the swings will be hefty enough it can be felt.
Gloves are also good to wear to protect your fingers.
Oh, and we of course like to dress up in full costume for it.
For those really intrested we are debating on making a group chat just for the LS combat. And we will post all meetups events and such in this group as of now.
