Are you or your children interested in modern art or photography techniques? Light Painting Photography may be a perfect fit for you and your family! Light Painting Photography is a photographic technique where you set up a 'scene' in pitch darkness using flashlights to "paint " the scene with light, which is captured by a camera on a tripod. In the workshop you will create beautiful photographs with the appearance of an oil painting, while learning about scene composition, camera settings, and photography techniques such as post processing.
Lean Into STEAM: STEAM adds the 'art' to the well known STEM acronym. This session is a perfect example of a combination of art and science. Students will work in lab spaces, building science knowledge, while creating art!
Parking Notice: Parking at the John R. Post is limited and most spaces are metered. Please plan accordingly if you are planning to stay during the sessions. Drop offs can be done at the front of the building (Penn Street).
