About this Event
We invite you to join us as a Host this year for an exclusive evening event hosted annually by the National AIDS Memorial. Light in the Grove is a magical outdoor celebration of Love, Community, and Remembrance in the National AIDS Memorial Grove, located in the heart of historic Golden Gate Park.
Please join us on November 30th, the eve of our World AIDS Day National Observance, at this unique and inspiring event, recognized repeatedly as the Bay Area’s best LGBTQ+ fundraising events. This whimsical evening in nature surrounded by friends, live music/DJ, and art includes:
♦ A champagne or sparkling beverage stroll, under the evening sky, through the magnificence of the magically lit Grove
♦ Beautifully illuminated pathways with brilliant, colorful light displays, imaginative artistic features, and enchanting dance and musical performances
♦ A moving candlelight reflection at the Circle of Friends
♦ Gourmet hors d’oeuvres, dinner, sweets, and beverage stations throughout the evening
♦ A stunning night-time display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, evoking powerful moments of love, community, and remembrance
♦ Featured guest speakers delivering inspiring reflections during a short program
Your contribution as a Host for Light in the Grove supports the programs of the National AIDS Memorial, which includes the care and maintenance of our beloved 10-acre National AIDS Memorial Grove and the iconic 50,000+ panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt.
All Hosts will be acknowledged in our media advertisements, printed materials, online and onsite.
We hope you will join us as a Premier Host of Light in the Grove so we can, once again, gather for our traditional celebration of Love, Community, and Remembrance.
