Light City Derby is hosting our last Fresh Meat Intake for 2021!!Come along for this 10 week program and learn everything from how to skate, stopping, weaving, skating in a pack, to full contact!
No experience necessary (however some casual weekend skating would be beneficial to help you practice your skills)!
Our 1st session will include an info component so you can learn about derby and Light City Derby before you commit! Then if you are keen, you can jump right on skates and get started!

What to bring:
- Mouthguard – you can get this from a chemist or sports shop, or even better a Sisu branded one from DaKlinic in the Myer Centre
- Water
- Clothing that you would normally wear to the gym (but the venue can get chilly)
- Skating Gear – if you have it, if not you can hire a complete set for $5 per session
- Money – initially there is a $10 upfront once-off cost for insurance, then $10 per session to contribute to costs (and $5 if you are hiring gear)
- You and your willing to have fun self!
