This class will teach the fundamentals of using available light and light modifiers in various photographic situations.
About this Event

Join Foto Dono as he explores the fundamentals of using available light and light modifiers in various photographic situations. He will be covering a variety of topics, including Using the Flash • Using Natural Light • Lighting, your subject • Exposure Settings • Composition • Creative Thinking • Light Modifiers • Expansion & Compression.

Please have the battery fully charged for your Mirrorless or D-SLR. However, you do not need to have a flash. Following the classroom instruction, students will try out some flashes and techniques in the studio.

About the instructor - Donovan Evans, also known as Foto Dono, is an award-winning photo artist. He has over 25 years of experience in making things with his camera. He has been obsessed with photographing the Milky Way since 2016. He is the Photo Education Director at Johnson PhotoImaging, where he teaches photography when not making things.
