Jonathan is based at Orchard Road Studios in Forres where he works as a professional artist and teacher. His work includes portraiture, still, life and landscape and recent work explores the power of figurative realism to express spiritual themes. Jonathan was a participant in the international London Art Biennale 2025, and was a semi finalist in SkyArts Portrait Artist of the year series in 2019. He has also exhibited with the Royal Society of Scottish Artists the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Park Gallery, Cheltenham. Jonathan undertakes portrait commissions (people and pets).
