Waco National Women in Agriculture Association presents, Learning Important Farming Training Skills (L.I.F.T.S.) Conference, themed “Growing in Community.” The conference will be held June 9-11, 2024, in Waco, Texas at the Waco Convention Center. (Room blocks at Hilton Hotel Waco)We are fostering a community where nutritious and sustainably sourced food is not just a choice but a shared reality. We are excited to host this encapsulating event that summarizes the last 3 years of our NIFA-funded Beginning Farmers and Ranchers Development Program, which trained over thirty participants in McLennan County, allowing Historically Underserved BIPOC Farmers and Ranchers to increase in resilience and success in the agriculture industry.
