This course includes training in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid. Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. *Additional certifications are available upon request.* CPR masks are provided. All participants need to successfully complete a pre-test of swimming skills and endurance that is administered the first day.This class features seven hours of online learning completed before and during the course. Registration closes on Monday, November 8 to allow all participants time to complete a portion of the online learning before the first class. Candidates must be at least 15 years old by December 14 to complete this course.
