Long Island Photo Gallery is honored to have Anthony Graziano as the juror for Life Through the Seasons. A celebrated fine art photographer, author, and educator, Anthony resides on the East End of Long Island and has dedicated more than 30 years to capturing the beauty of nature through his lens.

Anthony’s approach to photography transcends mere visual documentation; it is deeply rooted in emotion and connection. Believing that our bond to the natural world is instinctual, he sees nature as both an emotional refuge and a source of spiritual renewal. Through his work, Anthony hopes to inspire a sense of peace in the viewer while fostering a passion for protecting our fragile environment.

Anthony’s creative process involves immersing himself in the energy of a location, often spending extended periods observing its unique character before capturing its essence. His photographs are renowned for their vibrant color palettes, masterful layering, and poetic use of light, all of which combine to create images that are both visually stunning and emotionally resonant.

With accolades including an artist residency from the Andy Warhol Foundation and solo exhibitions such as Nature’s Places and Faces at The Center for Conservation gallery, Anthony’s work has been exhibited in esteemed venues including the Southampton Cultural Center, FotoFoto Gallery, The Islip Art Museum, and Long Island Photo Gallery.

As juror for this open call, Anthony’s unparalleled artistic vision and deep appreciation for the natural world promise to bring a thoughtful and inspiring selection of works to Life Through the Seasons.
