Perhaps you’ve seen one of their blue helicopters overhead and wondered where they’re headed to or coming from. Or maybe a friend or family member has taken a medical flight. Often, people are only vaguely aware of how air medical operations function in their community and what deems an air transport necessary. Join us for an informative presentation where we’ll explore key aspects of medical transport. We'll begin with an overview of flight operations and explore the role of clinical flight teams, focusing on how collaboration and expertise contribute to high-quality patient care. Next, we’ll discuss transport costs and the benefit of the membership program.
