Description:

Immerse yourself in an engaging life drawing workshop designed for aspiring artists keen on honing their craft. Guided by an experienced instructor, this immersive experience provides a dynamic space for participants to perfect their drawing skills while delving into the intricacies of human anatomy. Through a blend of dynamic poses and expert guidance, attendees will refine their grasp of line of action, gesture, value, proportions, composition, and expressive rendering. Whether you aim to enrich your portfolio or nurture your artistic passion, this workshop ensures a fulfilling voyage of creativity and skill enhancement.

Objectives:

  • Improve drawing abilities through focused instruction.
  • Deepen understanding of line of action, gesture, and value.
  • Inspire artistic experimentation and self-expression.
  • Develop keen observational skills for accurate figure drawing.
  • Cultivate artistic development through personalized guidance and feedback.

Required Materials:

  • Sketchbook or drawing papers and board (A4 or larger) at least 50 pages.
  • B to B6 pencils
  • Pencil sharpener

Meet Your Instructor:

Mohsen Veysi, a versatile artist, researcher, and educator with nearly a decade of experience teaching studio arts and art history both in-person and online, globally. Mohsen holds an academic diploma in visual arts from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Florence, Italy, a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati, OH, USA, and a PhD in Art History from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. Passionate about nurturing creativity and sharing knowledge, Mohsen brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to artistic development to each workshop session.

Payment, Registration & Cancellation Policy:

  • Cost: $172 (inclusive of Eventbrite fees, taxes, model fees, sushi dinner & one drink per person).
  • Materials not included.

  • E-Transfer: Send a $160 e-transfer to [email protected]. Payment is required in full to reserve your place. You are not registered until your payment has been received.
  • Eventbrite: Purchase your ticket on Eventbrite for $172, which includes Eventbrite service fees.

Cancellation and Make-up Policy:

  • Full refund of $160 if you cancel 5 days before the start of the workshop. Note that Eventbrite service fees are non-refundable.
  • No refund for cancellations after this date.
  • If a workshop must be cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund.
