The Rochester Draw is an untutored life-drawing group who meet fortnightly in Rochester, Kent.
We host an informal, non-judgemental group who like to draw the nude figure from life.
Everyone is welcome from absolute beginners to part-time and full-time artists.
The life drawing sessions run from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm on every other Thursday at The Quaker Meeting House, 1 Northgate, Rochester ME1 1LS, directly opposite The Rochester Corn Exchange.
The meeting room is large, well-lit and comfortable. There is a small, well-equipped kitchen area and we break for teas and coffee once during the session.
Nearest parking is in the Cathedral Car Park beside the venue. If arriving by train, we are a short walk, across the road from Rochester Station.
Typically, there will be a series of different poses during the evening, ranging from 2 minutes to 30 minutes.
We use experienced life models of all ages, size, shapes genders and ethnicities in order to be as fully inclusive as we possibly can be.
We observe all the conventions you would expect from a life-drawing group.
